About me

I've always dreaded the idea of being only one "thing". The idea that I needed to choose between all of my passions and eventually pick one to call a career. I resented it. Refused. I felt like I was limiting the possibility of what I could be. I thought that it was a weakness. Now, I know that it makes me human.I grew up in a small-ish town in Ontario, Canada. I was naturally curious about everything. I had so many questions about the world and the people living in it. I wanted to learn and experience everything.I've been a lot of things in my short life. An actor, singer, dancer, musician, director, writer, producer, filmmaker...I guess I'm a jack-of-all-trades in a sense.I spent a lot of my life thinking about purpose. Wondering why I was here doing all of these things. What's the connection? The closest I've come to answering that question comes down to one thing: storytelling.For me, making films and performing are more than just pretend. Stories are a way to connect with people and explore questions we may have never thought to answer. It's a way of feeling tethered to something real. It's a way of understanding the world.
